Bio
I believe that every child can grow when given the right tools, support, and encouragement. In my classroom, mistakes are seen as opportunities to learn—because every mistake is a chance to improve. I model a love for learning by continuing my own professional development. As a tutor, my goal is to meet students where they are and help them build confidence, close gaps, and develop a deep understanding of content. I aim to create targeted, engaging lessons that support each student’s unique learning needs. I build strong relationships with students by creating a warm, supportive environment where they feel seen, heard, and valued. I take time to understand each learner’s strengths, challenges, and interests so I can personalize instruction and help them grow academically and emotionally.
Teacher Specialization
This is my 4th year in education. I am a current third grade teacher teaching ELA, Social studies, and phonics but I have experience in all grades K-6th. I am certified to teach Kindergarter through 6th grade (all subjects), I am also certified in LETRS and Orton-Gillingham reading instruction (science of reading), character development integration, English Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Endorsed, and Reading Endorsed.
