Bio
Hello, I am Adiagha. My family is from West Africa, and I was born and raised in Texas. I love to travel and try different foods from different cultures. I believe that education is a transformative process that nurtures not only intellectual growth but also personal development. A truly effective learning environment is built on three key principles: communication, motivation, and conscientiousness. These values, combined with a commitment to continuous self-improvement, form the foundation of my teaching approach. I want my students to be excited about learning. There are many learning styles within the learning environment, and a good teacher will tap into facilitating what the learner needs to be successful.
Teacher Specialization
My specializations are in Reading/Language Arts and Math for 1st-8th grade. I also focus on study skills and organizational strategies. I hold a Master's in Education and a Doctorate in Human Services. I have been in the education field for thirty years now, focusing on working with a diverse population of youth and families. I have 5 years in the classroom and 3 year in the virtual learning space.
