Bio
I believe that motivation is key in a language classroom. I use modern teaching methods, like task-based and action-oriented approaches, to keep my students engaged. I also incorporate creativity and technology to help them connect with different cultures. For me, teaching isn't just about sharing knowledge; it's an interactive experience. I've created a student-centered environment where students work together, improving their reading, speaking, listening, and writing skills in Spanish. I'm committed to lifelong learning and regularly attend conferences and courses to enhance my teaching skills. The positive outcomes I see in my students remind me why I love being a Spanish teacher. Their enthusiasm inspires me every day.
Teacher Specialization
I have been a teacher for 22 years. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and a Master of Science in Education with a teaching licenses in Spanish, K-12 and Educational Technology, K-12. I currently teach Spanish for middle school students. In the past I taught all levels of Spanish including Spanish Honors III and IV. During the Pandemic I taught all levels of Spanish virtually which I truly enjoyed. Previously, I also taught computer technology, French and Chinese for elementary and middle school students. This included two academic years teaching computer technology for kindergarten through the 8th grade.
