Hello! My name is Alyssa. I love to teach but also love music. I play different music instruments such as the piano drums and guitar. I chose to become a tutor because know I believe knowledge is a super power and all children deserve a quality education. An education environment should be warm, inviting, friendly and engaging. Teaching should be an interactive experience where students have the opportunity to participate as well. Choose me as a tutor and I will be able to faciliate your child's learning of varied subjects. Teacher Specialization
I am a certified to teach from Kindergarten-6th grade. I have taught ELL students and students with exceptionalities. I have taught 1st grade-5th grade. I can teach K-6th ELA, math, social studies and science. I have taught a total of 8 years. I have also been a tutor part time virtually and in person as well. The students that I tutored were at the Elementary and Middle and High School students.
