Bio
Hello, I have been an online teacher since the beginning of last semester and I loved every minute of it. Before that, I taught using an online platform when teaching Dyslexia. Teaching online is definitely something I have learned thoroughly and grown to love. When it comes to teaching, I meet students where they are and we grow and learn from there together. Each student has unique and specific needs and I aim to reach their goals the way they learn best! Getting to know each other is the first step. I can't wait to meet you and get to know you really soon! Here is a little bit about me: My husband and I have been married for about 3.5 years, live in Central Texas, and are expecting our first baby in February 2025! We are so excited to welcome him into our family so soon. We have two dogs, Caesar and Aurora, as well as one cat, Mr. Bernard. They keep us on our toes! We enjoy traveling to new places, exploring Texas' beautiful state parks, and serving within our church and community.
Teacher Specialization
After graduation from Tarleton State University with a bachelor's degree, I was certified to teach as an EC-6 Generalist and within Special Education for grades EC-12, with an ESL certification. The past 3 years I have been a paraprofessional for a student with Autism, a Special Education Teacher, a 504 Coordinator, taught Dyslexia through an online platform, and, lastly, taught 4th grade Co-Teach/Inclusion for K12 through LSOA this past semester.
