Welcome Parents and Students of Stride Tutoring. My name is Annette Wiederholt, and I am excited to be tutoring your students online. Who is ready to "Keep Math Simple"? I've had 35 years of teaching math from grade 6 through college. I am a highly qualified math teacher with strong teaching ethics, assisting students to become lifelong learners in math. I believe that all students are capable of learning, and I encourage them to think, learn, and study independently. My enthusiasm, patience, and passion for teaching math will help your student develop successful math skills and achieve outstanding results. My years of expertise in math have allowed students to develop a strong foundation and understanding of their mastery of math concepts.

Teacher Specialization

I have 35 years of experience as a math teacher, teaching students from junior high to college-level math. My expertise is with Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, and 2. I have earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of LaVerne, and a master's in education from the University of Irvine Concordia. During the last 10 years, I have worked with the Rio Hondo Consortium Prep Program as the lead tutor for the after-school tutoring program.
