Bio
Hello! I’m Antwayne James, a dedicated educator and instructional leader. I believe students learn best through engaging, student‑centered instruction that meets them where they are and builds on their strengths. My goal is to help students strengthen their academic skills while also building confidence, critical thinking, and a genuine love for learning. I’m committed to supporting each student’s academic growth and helping them reach their highest level of success. My approach helps students feel comfortable taking academic risks, asking questions, and celebrating their progress.
Teacher Specialization
I’m an educator with over twenty years of experience across elementary, middle, and high school, and I’m a four‑time Teacher of the Year recipient. I have extensive virtual teaching and tutoring experience, supporting students in Social Studies and ELA Reading through engaging, student‑centered instruction. I’ve taught multiple humanities courses across K–12, and my broad‑field certification allows me to help students strengthen reading comprehension, critical thinking, and content knowledge. I hold an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership, an M.A. in School Administration & Supervision, and a B.A. in History with Secondary Social Studies Education. I’m committed to helping every student grow with confidence and reach their academic goals.
