Bio
Hello! My name is Aspen Stone. I am a certified K-8 teacher in the State of Washington. I am honored, and very excited to help you learn and grow this year. I believe that every child is capable of thriving and they deserve to feel confident in themselves and their education/learning. I am extremely passionate about helping children build confidence within themselves and providing them with ways that fit THEIR learning style the best. I look forward to working with you!
Teacher Specialization
I have had eleven years of teaching experience grades Preschool-2nd grade. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education as well as a Mater's Degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis. After earning my Bachelor's Degree, I obtained full time employment as a kindergarten teacher at a local private school, did that for a year and then began subbing in the public school system. After subbing for a year, I accepted a job teaching second grade. I did that for a few years before district funding cut teaching positions. I went back into subbing and now I am working as a full time behavior support assistant and have my own tutoring business in town supporting students from various districts from my surrounding area.
