Bio
Hello! My name is Aurora, and I am an experienced full time teacher and tutor. I possess both an undergraduate and graduate degree in Elementary Education from the University of Oregon, and a minor in Russian comparative literature. I have worked in both public and charter schools in southern Oregon, and Arizona. I believe that all students are capable of learning and succeeding with the proper motivation and academic structure.
Teacher Specialization
I have worked in Oregon and Arizona schools since 2007. I specialize in literacy instruction, reading fluency, critical thinking skills, and reading comprehension. I have worked with students from Kindergarten through 12th grade on reading, writing, literacy, and fluency instruction. Additionally, I worked as a full time self-contrained teacher in 2nd-5th grade, and am a strong teacher and tutor of K-8th grade mathematics, social studies, science, handwriting, and art.
