Bio
Hello everyone! I am so excited and eager to begin this wonderful learning journey with you all. I am from a small rural town and since I have graduated in 2024, I have loved my career as an educator who is willing and able to nurture our next generation of students to their fullest potentials. Aside my educational career, I enjoy shopping with family, cooking, playing with my two dogs, and spending time with my husband and my son. My interests include, the color red, sports, nature, animals (my favorite is dogs of course), and my favorite food is chicken. I am a passionate educator who enjoys working with children and I chose to become a tutor because I am deeply motivated to help students build confidence, discovers their strengths and develop a love for learning. I believe that it is important that students learn and grow in both their strengths and weaknesses in connection with education and real-world experiences.
Teacher Specialization
I graduated in 2024 with a Bachelors' degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Health and Physical Education. 1. 5th Grade all subjects (student teaching) 2. 1st Grade all subjects (student teaching) 3. 6th Grade all subjects (student teaching) 4. 7th Grade, ELA and SS only (Full time teaching job- Half school year) 5. 6th Grade Math and Science (1st year Full time job) My experience with virtual education, I would say, is advanced due to COVID-19. I was the generation that spent her Senior Year of High School and the first 1 year of college online/hybrid (both online and in person). Being part of the generation that had to rely on online tools did have positive effects on my future. I learned to self-educated by teaching myself online strategies and finding online tools to help me understand and complete my work assignments, I also got very creative in my assignments thanks to a tool I found my freshman year of college, Canva, which has since supported my lesson creativity.
