Bio
Hi! My name is Bailey Augusti, and I am so excited to work with students one-on-one and in small groups to achieve their learning goals! I love seeing students be proud of themselves by overcoming struggles and challenges academically. I am a very relational teacher and like to connect with my students through incorporating their interests into each lesson. I have a more classical teaching philosophy, meaning that I want to teach the students how to be a learner and ENJOY the process of learning more than anything. To learn is a gift and showing enthusiasm while teaching helps students to understand the joy of education!
Teacher Specialization
I studied Elementary Education at Liberty University. I have been teaching Kindergarten in a variety of school settings for 4 years now, with experience in Title I, Dual-Language, and private schools. I am certified to teach PreK through fifth grade, but most of my experience has been with lower elementary. I have taught Kindergarten for 4 years, but also have experience in first and second grade classrooms, and a K-5 afterschool tutoring program.
