Bio

Hello there! My name is Brenda Gaston, and I have been an elementary educator for the past 11+ years. I have taught grades K-6 and LOVE to help students meet their goals! I have both a bachelor's and master's degree, along with being Google Level 1 certified. I have been rated as "Highly Effective" all 11 years of my teaching career, as well. I enjoy working one-on-one and with small groups and like to get to know my students! I have years of experience working with various ability levels; from gifted and talented to special needs. It is very important to me that each child's learning experience is tailored to them and their individual goals! Additionally, I have worked with children who have speech delays, are new to speaking English, and have medical ailments. I am so excited to meet your student(s) and cannot wait to help them be successful in their educational journey! Teacher Specialization

I have taught at the elementary level, K-6, for the past 11+ years. Additionally, I have conducted daily RTI groups and small group instruction to enhance understanding. I have worked with children with special needs, speech impairments, English is a second language to them, and children with medical ailments. I have also provided tutoring before and after school, along with working with families to increase learning at home.
