Bio
Every student can achieve great things. The key is helping them see it, too. I tutor because I love helping students feel powerful. As a tutor, my goal is to connect with every student through positive interaction, curiosity, validation, and allowing students to express themselves. When I get to know my students, I can see what they need to learn and make progress. I also create a space where students feel validated and heard, and they can make mistakes without fear of judgment. Each tutoring session is a journey that I embark on with my students — to explore, to discover their strengths, to overcome challenges, and to feel victorious.
Teacher Specialization
I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I am familiar with technology-based learning due to my education during the COVID pandemic. I have 4 years of teaching experience through multiple avenues. I student-taught in a 6th-grade classroom, teaching every subject. Another year, I specialized in teaching 6th-grade Social Studies and Writing. I have been a substitute teacher in grades K-6, and I have privately tutored students part-time for several years.
