My student-centered philosophy blends academic rigor with creativity, equity, and strong relationships. Known for engaging, real-world lessons and high expectations, I design innovative blended learning units and create initiatives like "Family University" to strengthen school-home partnerships. I value warmth and encouragement in my teaching, ensuring that students feel supported while being challenged to grow.
Teacher Specialization
I have over a decade of teaching experience and hold a doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Leadership. My specializations include mathematics instruction and the integration of literacy and social studies. I am passionate about student-centered, inquiry-based learning and design lessons that encourage curiosity and critical thinking. I also focus on blended and technology-enhanced learning to engage students in meaningful ways. Beyond the classroom, I lead family engagement initiatives, such as “Family University,” to strengthen partnerships between school and home.
