Bio
I teach because I want to encourage students to believe in themselves and to feel empowered to go after the life they choose. As an English teacher, I believe literacy is the key to helping students get to that point! My goal is to facilitate a learning experience that promotes positivity and respect, encourages creativity, and requires critical thinking. I currently serve as an ELA department lead at a California high school, where I was awarded Teacher of the Year.
