Bio
Hi! My name is Cara Telesca and I look forward to meeting you and your child on this learning endeavor! It is my personal philosophy that in order to have a trustworthy, dependable educator, communication is key. I am also about personalizing my lessons and treating others the way you'd like to be treated. I am personable, patient, dedicated, caring, and extremely willing to provide resources where and when I can to families who need it.
Teacher Specialization
I am a professionally certified teacher with a master's degree to teach elementary, middle school subjects, Spanish (5-9), and English as a second language K-12. I am also professionally certified to teach students with special needs (1-6, 5-9) and have taught students who have varying special needs. I have 11 years of district teaching experience and 3 years of virtual tutor teaching experience. In the schools, I taught students kindergarten through 12th grade for English as a second language and as a virtual tutor, I have taught English as a second language, elementary and middle grades (6-8) math, science, social studies, ELA & reading. I have also virtually taught Spanish (7-9).
