Bio
I have a true love for teaching and learning. All students should be presented with the opportunities to learn and grow. One thing that excites me as an educator is to see the learning lightbulb click on for each individual student. Growth is extremely important to me in both education and life. I now live in rural Georgia, but have lived and taught in big cities like Pittsburgh and Philadelphia as well. I have been blessed to win teacher of the year twice in my time as an educator. I have loved getting to know each of my students and I am thankful to be a participant in your tutoring experience!
Teacher Specialization
I have taught students from Kindergarten to 12th Grade as a general education teacher and special education co-teacher. I have a bachelor ’s degree in elementary education (K-6), special education (K-12), and master’s degree in special education with a certification in Autism studies. I have taught all subjects at the elementary school level, core subjects at the middle school level, and core subjects at the high school level.
