Greetings! I am Cathy Brown. My goal as a tutor is to help all students actualize their abilities as learners. I believe everybody is capable of learning. We each have our own style, and I'm here to help discover your style and to help you develop lifetime learning skills. My passion is instill confidence and helping students discover how empowering it is to learn. I incorporate science and math in my every day lifestyle as an off-grid homesteader, a certified organic farmer, and herbalist. You too can apply what you learn to your lifestyle. I'm here to show you how!!
Teacher Specialization
My experience includes teaching at public, private, home school and livestream edtech. I wrote all components of curricula I have taught, including classroom lessons, labs, and field trip curriculum for AP Environmental Science, Biology, Physical and Life Science. AP Environmental Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Physical Science, and Life Science. I also tutored anyone who needed it at lunch time and after school. As an edtech teacher, I also taught Geometry, Algebra I, and Algebra II.
