Bio
Hello! My name is Ms. Garcia. I taught elementary school students for many years and retired from the classroom in 2021. Since then, I have continued working with students through fifth grade, helping them build confidence and succeed academically. I enjoy teaching Math, Science, Reading, Writing, and Social Studies. Every child learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to meet each student's individual needs and learning style. I am flexible with scheduling and committed to helping students achieve their academic goals. My goal is to make learning fun, engaging, and easy to understand. I strive to create a positive and encouraging environment where students feel confident asking questions, developing new skills, and reaching their full potential.
Teacher Specialization
My teaching career began while I was in college as a substitute teacher. After earning my degree, I taught fourth, third, second, and kindergarten, with most of my experience in third grade until I retired in 2021. I hold a Pre-K–4 teaching certification with a bilingual endorsement in Spanish. Since retiring, I have continued working with students by substituting in public schools and teaching virtually, including elementary grades and high school Practical Math. These experiences have kept me current with both in-person and online instruction. I enjoy teaching Math, Science, Reading, Writing, and Social Studies. I believe every student can succeed with patience, encouragement, and individualized instruction. My goal is to make learning engaging, easy to understand, and enjoyable while helping students build confidence and reach their full potential.
