Bio
Hello! I am a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University and a 5th grade virtual teacher with experience in both classroom instruction and educational leadership. This background gives me a strong understanding of how students learn and how to tailor instruction to meet individual needs. I believe every student has the potential to succeed, and my goal as a tutor is to help students build confidence and develop strong academic skills in a supportive, engaging learning environment. As a tutor, my goal is to create a safe, engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, taking risks, and celebrating progress. Building strong relationships with students is at the heart of my work. I take time to learn each student’s interests, learning style, and strengths so instruction feels personal and meaningful.

I am an experienced educator specializing in elementary and special education, holding a Bachelor of Science in Education (Elementary 1–6 & Exceptional Child K–12, Cum Laude), a Master of Arts in Elementary & Special Education Administration (4.0 GPA), and a Specialist Degree in Leadership from Southeast Missouri State University. With over 13 years of experience supporting students with diverse learning needs—including nearly one year in a virtual teaching setting—I am passionate about helping students grow academically and personally.
