Bio
With 30 years of teaching experience, I’ve worked with learners of all ages—from toddlers to senior citizens—in settings as varied as public and private schools, jails, community centers, in-home tutoring, and online platforms. My approach is rooted in compassion, structure, and adaptability, meeting each student where they are and helping them grow. I believe in making learning accessible and engaging, using humor, real-world examples, and clear strategies to build confidence and mastery. While I’m certified to teach K–6, my experience spans far beyond, including support for students with learning differences, emotional challenges, and gifted needs. Whether a child is struggling with reading, math, or study skills, I tailor each session to their unique needs and learning style. My goal is to help every student feel seen, supported, and capable—because when learners believe in themselves, achievement follows.
Teacher Specialization
I specialize in adapting instruction to meet the unique needs of every learner. With a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Information Technology, as well as MCC (Microsoft Certified Coach) status, I bring both academic expertise and mentoring insight to each session. My approach blends structure with creativity, using humor, real-world relevance, and clear strategies to make learning meaningful and manageable. I support students with neurodivergent profiles, gifted abilities, emotional sensitivities, and those needing foundational skill-building. Whether decoding words, tackling math, or building study habits, I tailor each session to the learner’s pace and personality. My goal is to help every student feel capable, supported, and motivated—because when teaching is personalized, progress becomes inevitable.
