Hello, my name is Chevelle Bernard I am passionate and dedicated educator who believes that every child has the potential to learn, grow, and shine in their own unique way. With a philosophy rooted in creating a nurturing, engaging and inclusive classroom environment, I focus on building strong foundations in both academics and character. I encourage hands-on-learning experiences that spark curiosity and help students develop confidence in their abilities. My teaching personality is warm, patient, and encouraging. Blending structure with creativity to make learning both meaningful and fun. I believe education is not just about teaching lessons but about inspiring a lifelong love for learning and helping each child discover their strengths.

I have 8 years of dedicated experience in the field of education; I have developed a strong foundation in both traditional and virtual learning environments. I have a few years of virtual education experience designing engaging online lessons, maintaining student participation, and supporting families in navigating digital learning platforms. I have taught kindergarten through third grade with a focus on building foundational skills in literacy, early math concepts, phonics, and social-emotional learning. My ability to adapt instruction for both in-person and virtual settings ensures that students receive consistent high-quality learning opportunities. I have a master's degree in early childhood education, and I am Reading and ESOL endorse.
