Bio
Greetings! My name is Chevonne Knight and I consider myself a super duper special needs tutor. My teaching, tutoring and intervention practices have been rated highly effective throughout my teaching career. In my teaching I utilize a student-centered approach and incorporate visual aids to boost engagement and learning. My approach is to differentiate instruction based on my students needs and provide instruction that engages and makes learning fun for all ages. I live in Cape Coral, Florida with my husband, my 6-year old son and our dog Rambo. I love traveling and spending time by the by the pool with family.
Teacher Specialization
I have been teaching for the past 14 years, holding certifications in both New York and Florida. I am certified to teach both general elementary K-6 and exceptional student education K-12. As a teacher and tutor for grades K-2nd, I provided academic intervention to build the foundational skills to promote early reading and math skills. While teaching in grades 3-5 I provided test preparation/intervention in both reading, writing, and math.
