Hey there! I'm Ms. Nibbe, and I CAN'T WAIT to help you achieve your academic goals. I believe that learning should be FUN and individualized. This combination creates a learning environment that is not only productive, but activates memory through connecting content to you. I love getting to know my students and finding out the way you learn best. My goal is to help you grow! Tracking our progress on our tutoring goals helps increase motivation and identify new ways to improve. You will definitely learn how to set goals and work towards them if you choose me as your tutor! Through getting to know you and your learning style, I will be able to help you grow academically and have FUN while doing it. I am fortunate to have been a tutor with Stride for almost a year with only 5 Star and positive reviews. I am happy to report that new students book more sessions with me. Teacher Specialization
I started as a Writing Center Tutor at my university. I worked with students on topics from engineering to creative writing. I had many repeat clients, which helped us see lots of growth! I then started teaching in 8th Grade Language Arts. My students were native Spanish speakers, so I had students at all reading levels, forcing me to learn and implement reading strategies for each grade level. I then transitioned to Reading Intervention, specializing in targeted interventions, such as Phonics.
