Bio
Hello! My name is Clare and I believe that literacy is the most important skill for anyone to possess in our society. Being an effective communicator is essential to being able to successfully contribute to society. That teaching philosophy is a center of my teaching goals: I want to make a difference for students who struggle with reading, writing, and speaking. I build relationships with my students by creating lessons and activities that center around their interests and strengths.
Teacher Specialization
I am a graduate of Bridgewater State University, Massachusetts. I received a bachelors in English and double minor and education and psychology. Since graduation, I have work as a full-time class English teacher for six years, and I have taught online for two years. I have taught grades nine through 12 and even some college students during these years. I’ve also worked online as a tutor Teaching grades four through 12 in college level courses. I specialize in reading and writing.
