Bio
Hello! I am a dedicated educator with a passion for helping students reach their goals and improve their confidence. I specialize in creating supportive environments were students are encouraged to take risks and discover what they are capable of. I tailor each lesson to each individual students whether we are building foundational skills or learning challenging topics. My approach is patient, structured, and positive while celebrating students' growth. I am currently a fifth grade teacher in Illinois and I am certified to teach K-8th grade certified in math, ELA, social studies, and science. I am beyond excited to work with your child and help them reach their full potential.
Teacher Specialization
I was a substitute teacher for an elementary school for a year and I now teach 5th grade as a first year teacher. I have tutored during that time as well. I have my bachelors in Music with an emphasis in education, and I also have my masters in elementary education. My strong suit is math.
