Hello! My name is Crystal Manson and I am a passionate, dedicated and experienced teacher. I am so excited in getting to know you during our time together. My teaching philosophy is blended. I believe education is the key to a successful life. As your tutor, I will provide a safe and positive learning environment by building trust, respect and empathy. I will build on what you know and use this knowledge to introduce a new concept. We will work together as a team to meet your academic needs. I am so excited to become your tutor and instill a life long love of learning.
Teacher Specialization
I have been a Credential Elementary Teacher for over 25 years and have. I have taught Kindergarten, Second, Fourth and Fifth Grades. For the last 5 years, I taught Reading Intervention. I taught reading to at risk students. I have been trained in the following reading intervention programs: UFLI, Orton-Gillingham, Acadience, Heggerty, Rime Magic. I have implemented them into my class.
