Bio
Hello! My name is Cynthia Molina, Ph.D. (Curriculum and Instruction). My educational philosophy is that learners learn by doing. By actively being engaged in doing an activity, the learner can practice and become more proficient. My tutoring goals are to help learners become independent and self-motivated so that they can produce wonderful artifacts of their accomplishments! I build relationships with learners by understanding them as individuals who have their specific social, psychological, and learning needs. Once I know these needs, I can cater to their needs by creating unique learning experiences for them!
Teacher Specialization
I have sixteen years of elementary school teaching experience. I have taught Pre-K through grade 5. I am licensed to teach in Virginia grades Pre-K to grade 6. I have taught all subjects. I have a Special Education endorsement K-12 grades. I am able to communicate in Spanish and basic German. I have taught a college level course in Logic at Centura College and have volunteered to teach the GED in Hampton, VA as well as online. I enjoy creating interactive reading and writing activities. I published several reading books on Amazon.com.
