Bio
Hi! My name is Ms. Bartl, and I have been teaching for 14+ years with students of varying levels, ages, and needs. Experience spans from English/Reading to Health and Special Education for primarily grades 6-12. However, experience with elementary students ranges from tutoring to learning programs for specialized academic needs as well. I am certified in many subjects, including the following areas: literacy, health, reading, and special education. Educational Philosophy: To support all students in where they are at, and assist, as needed, to ensure growth, self-discovery, and continual self-development for academic, life, and personal opportunity and greatest potential. Tutoring Goals: To provide developmentally-appropriate support that will assist each student to feel welcome, helped, and able to learn and grow both with knowledge and skills, within the learning experience. I build relationships with my students by getting to know them, and their skills and needs.

I have worked as an educator across various disciplines for over fourteen years. I have worked as a virtual educator for more than five years, and have ample experience on diverse platforms and modalities. I specialize in working with students with special needs in grades K-12, particularly who require learning, social/emotional and behavioral support with their learning environment/needs for success in school. I have worked to assist students in math, science, social studies, English, Reading and Health. I also have supported students in executive functioning classes. My degree specializations include: childhood, early childhood, adolescent, health, English, Reading, and special education.
