Bio
Hi! My name is Danielle Snyder and I can't wait to be your tutor. I believe that all students deserve the utmost respect in a teaching environment. Positive reinforcement is a large part of my educational philosophy. I love making connections with the students that I work with, as I feel as though no teaching can be done without the connection and respect between the students and myself. Relationships in teaching come first! I strive to use various learning styles and modes of teaching to best meet my students' needs and ensure them a productive and successful learning experience with both positive and productive feedback. I enjoy traveling with my family, skiing, reading, and crafting in my free time.
Teacher Specialization
I have my Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education K-6, a Masters Degree in Education with a Reading Specialist Certification, and my Masters +30 in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). I have 12 years of teaching experience in a public school district setting and 3 years of teaching experience in an online setting. I taught 6th grade for three years, 1st grade for eight years, and subbed in grades K-6 for one year. I have taught virtually with 1st graders for a year and have been tutoring with K12 for two years.
