Bio
My education philosophy is simple, it is important for students to understand a connection with the information and it's importance to what is going on in the world today. The best way to provide feedback is to constantly ask questions and to call on students for their input. My goal for tutoring is to allow students to gain an understanding of topics they may find difficult to understand. All students have moments of fear and doubt when learning, it is important to give them a safe place to express their ideas and a mentor to provide support. Hello, my name is David Jaeckel, I love history, reading and learning, I have had many experiences as a military man, a businessman and an educator, I want to share these experiences with students who might need a helping hand.
Teacher Specialization
I have been teaching for 12 years in both brick and mortar and online schools. I have a B.A. in History from the University of Nebraska, I have a master's in education, in Curriculum and assessment from Jones International University. I have tutored for 6 years. I am a volunteer museum educator; I have been doing this for 8 years. I am very good at helping seniors complete their civics test.
