Bio

Greetings! My name is Diane Jamison. I chose to become a tutor because I am a lifelong learner who wants to share that love of learning with students of all ages. I believe that students learn best when they are matched with topics of interest and activities that tap into those personal interests. I am a firm advocate for acknowledging the strengths of individual learners. I am committed to doing my part to promote education and student growth.

Teacher Specialization

I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Grove City College in 1975 and a Master of Education degree from Westminster College in 1981. I served as a classroom teacher at both New Brighton Elementary and Bon Meade Elementary schools. I also served as a reading teacher for the bulk of my career at Seneca Valley Middle School. During the pandemic years, I worked as a building substitute teacher at Laurel Elementary School. Online teaching and tutoring are recent jobs.
