Bio
With both Bachelors and Master of Education, I have 12 years’ experience teaching a combination of 7th/8th grade math, Algebra 1, Geometry, Advanced Algebra, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and Statistics. If you are a struggling math student who feels overwhelmed by complex topics, I will begin by focusing on building your confidence through basic concepts, using real-life scenarios to make math relatable. By gradually introducing more challenging problems and incorporating visual aids like graphs and number lines, I will help you break down complex calculations into manageable steps, allowing you to eventually tackle more advanced problems with a newfound sense of understanding and accomplishment. Connecting with students is key and I’ll work to make you feel valued. Know that you will be in a respected environment that is conducive to learning. I look forward to seeing that “aha” moment in your eyes and having some laughs along the way!
