Hi! My name is Teacher Dorretta and I am a highly qualified Reading Specialist with 38 years of experience helping students improve their reading skills. I love cooking international foods. I love teaching because a third grade teacher who I had till 6th grade Mr. Robert Rosenberg committed himself to motivate and inspire many lives including mine. As an expert in literacy development, I have a deep understanding of the challenges that many students face when it comes to reading. Whether your child is struggling with decoding, comprehension, or any other aspect of reading, I have the skills and knowledge needed to help them succeed. Don't let reading challenges hold your child back any longer. I love to see children participating and increasing their learning by challenging themselves and putting in the extra work to go higher.

I have 38 years of experience teaching in the public school system, specializing in grades 2nd through 6th. In addition to my extensive classroom experience, I have also taught internationally through online platforms. I hold a Master's degree in Education with a focus on Reading Specialist from Regent University. Furthermore, I have pursed my Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership( ABD) from Nova Southeastern University. I firmly believe in the transformative power of education.
