Bio
Greetings, I am a dedicated tutor with a passion for helping students build confidence and achieve academic success. I believe all students can be successful. Experienced in math and social studies, I tailor lessons to each learner’s needs, focusing on clear explanations, practical strategies, and skill-building. My goal is to create a supportive environment that encourages growth, curiosity, and lasting understanding. Also, I am looking to build positive relationships with my students as this is a crucial component in impacting student academic outcomes. During my spare time, I enjoy cooking, watching sports, and spending time with family.
Teacher Specialization
I have 14 years of experience in the education field. I specialize in teaching learners, primarily in grades 6-8. I’ve taught standard, Pre AP, as well as gifted & talented math. I also have middle school social studies experience. My classroom experience includes teaching students with various learning needs, which includes students receiving Special Education services. In addition to classroom teaching, I have experience as an assistant principal. Furthermore, I’ve spent time training other teachers. I have one year of virtual teaching experience. I hold college degrees in the following areas: Bachelor's Degree in Middle School Education, Master's Degree in Educational Theory and Practice, Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership, and a Doctor of Education Degree in Educational Leadership.
