Bio
Hello! My name is Elizabeth Ortiz and I have been teaching for almost 14 years. I love what I do and since I was in college I knew I wanted to become a teacher. For me every day is exciting, and I always try to make my classes fun and active! We can do music, drawing, stories, dancing, in other words, I look for ways to make learning fun and interactive! Even though the process looks different for everyone I believe that every student can achieve their goals, the important thing is that they try their best and show that they really want to be successful.
Teacher Specialization
I earned my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary levels from 1-6 grade and then I did my Masters Degree in Technology in Education. I started as an elementary self contained teacher and then decided to move up and teach Spanish to middle/high school levels. I earned my Languages other than English-Spanish (LOTE EC-12) certificate and started to teach the best subject ever! I have been teaching Spanish courses for almost 9 years, 4 of those have been in virtual setting.
