Bio
My philosophy of education is that all children are unique and worthy of success. It is my desire to create a positive and respectful atmosphere where students can feel safe and meet their full potential. As an educator, I hope to assist students in understanding and learning subject material from their courses. I also hope to help students achieve their personal academic goals by preparing them for upcoming class material. Most importantly, I hope to foster a love for learning and strengthen confidence.
Teacher Specialization
I have 29 years teaching experience. While teaching online for Stride, I have served as a High School ESL Case Manager, Advisor and homeroom teacher for grades 3-8, all subjects. During my tears at a brick-and-mortar campus, I taught all subjects in 5th grade. My Texas Teaching Certificate includes 1-8 grade with a Specialization in English and Reading. I also have s Texas Teaching Certificate, English as a Second Language and Texas Teaching Certificate, Gifted and Talented.
