Bio
I currently live in North Central Washington with my husband and our pets (3 dogs and 2 snakes!). I LOVE animals and anything outdoors. When I'm not teaching, I like to hike, paint, skateboard, and read. I love to teach and have taught many grades in different settings, including in person and virtually for 4 years at Oklahoma Virtual Charter Academy, where I was awarded Teacher of the Year in 2021-2022. I like to personalize instruction to every student and strive to make learning fun and engaging!
Teacher Specialization
I have spent most of my time teaching elementary education for 7 years and have taught from Pre-Kindergarten to 6th grade in public, charter, and virtual environments. Most of my time was spent teaching 3rd grade. Most recently, I have begun teaching high school math, where I teach Algebra I and II, along with General Math and AP Statistics. I also have a couple years of experience tutoring students in other math courses, as well as ample experience tutoring and teaching elementary math.
