Bio
Hello! My name is Mrs. McCullough, and I’m so excited to share my love of learning with students each day. I currently teach 4th grade Math and Science in a virtual setting, where I focus on making lessons engaging, hands-on, and fun. With over five years of experience teaching both in-person and online, I’ve taught a variety of subjects including Math, English Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, a K–5 endorsement in all core subjects, and I’m currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Instructional Design and Educational Technology. My teaching philosophy is built on encouragement, curiosity, and connection. I believe that every student can succeed when they feel supported and confident in their abilities. Whether we’re exploring a science experiment or solving a tricky math problem, I aim to make learning meaningful and enjoyable. I can’t wait to help my students grow, learn, and discover new things this year!
Teacher Specialization
I have over five years of teaching experience across multiple grade levels and subject areas. I currently teach 4th grade Math and Science in a virtual setting, where I design engaging and interactive lessons that promote problem-solving and critical thinking. Last year, I also taught virtually, gaining extensive experience in online instruction and student engagement. Before transitioning to virtual education, I taught 5th grade English Language Arts and Social Studies for three years, and before that, I taught all core subjects for 5th grade. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and am currently pursuing a Master’s in Instructional Design and Educational Technology. I am endorsed in K–5 Math, English Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science. My areas of specialization include upper elementary math and science instruction, online learning strategies, and curriculum design.
