Hello! I’m Teacher Eva, and I believe every child has unique talents and the ability to succeed when given the right support. My teaching philosophy centers on patience, encouragement, and adapting lessons to fit each student’s learning style. As a tutor, my goal is to help students gain confidence, enjoy the learning process, and discover their strengths. I build strong relationships by listening carefully, celebrating progress, and creating a safe and supportive space where students feel valued and motivated to grow.
Teacher Specialization
I have over 35 years of classroom teaching experience and 3 years of virtual teaching experience. I have taught grades 1–6 in Math, English Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and am a certified K-8 teacher in Arizona and New Mexico. My specializations include making math clear and enjoyable for students, supporting literacy development, and helping learners build confidence across subjects.
