Bio
Hello :)) My name is Giovana and I am very happy to be among everyone. My teaching philosophy emphasizes that learning is a lifelong experience. In life, it is important to persevere and not give up. My goal is to create a space that promotes exploration and empowers you to set goals and achieve them. I hold the belief that having an open door is crucial for communication and building a relationship based on trust. I will do everything in my power to teach or explain the concept, and I am expecting you to put forth your best effort.
Teacher Specialization
I have a bachelor’s in English and about 1.5 years of experience teaching the subject to middle and high school students. I have 3 years of experience working at day programs/schools for adults with autism along with working at daycares. I also possess a license to teach math all the way to the sixth grade. I have experience tutoring at an elementary school. Unfortunately I have no experience teaching online however I have experience learning remotely. Currently, I am working as a therapy assistant for children with autism and am in the process of obtaining a graduate certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis.
