Bio
Hi! My name is Mrs. Hannah and I am so excited to meet everyone! I was an elementary special education teacher but now I travel around the country with my husband, 2 dogs, and 2 cats! I believe that all children learn differently, and as an educator it is my responsibility to figure out a way to teach that best fits their needs. I believe that building a rapport with students, getting to know them and letting them get to know you, is key to success. I also find it very important to support and praise students for their efforts and hard work. Student need to know that you care before they can learn from you. Working independently with a student or working with a small group, I will have the ability to tend to their needs without interruption and finding those missing skills and alleviating their deficits.
Teacher Specialization
I tutored 2 different elementary aged students while I was in college, one for math and the other for math and reading. I was an elementary school special education teacher and am certified to teach general education for k-5. During the pandemic I taught my students through Zoom so I have experience with teaching through a screen.
