Bio
Hello — I’m Mr. Harrison Holder! I am a current Special Education Teacher with Stride K12 at Indiana Digital Learning School, and I would love the opportunity to provide some extra support! I believe education should be inclusive, individualized, and empowering. Every student deserves instruction that meets them where they are and helps them grow at their own pace. I strive to create learning experiences that build confidence and encourage students to see challenges as opportunities for growth. My goal as a tutor is to provide targeted support that helps students strengthen their skills and develop strategies for independent learning. Whether it’s building literacy foundations or tackling subject-specific challenges, I aim to ensure each student leaves sessions feeling more capable and motivated. I build strong relationships by listening carefully, respecting each student’s perspective, and celebrating their progress. I prioritize open communication!
Teacher Specialization
I am in my fifth year as a Special Education teacher, with experience teaching students across elementary, middle, and high school levels in a variety of academic areas. At the start of the year, I transitioned to virtual education, where I’ve enjoyed designing flexible, engaging lessons that meet learners’ needs in an online environment. I earned my degree in Special Education from the University of Southern Indiana and hold a current teaching license with an endorsement in Early Literacy. My specialization lies in adapting curriculum, differentiated instruction, and supporting students in building strong literacy foundations, particularly in reading and writing growth.
