Hi, I'm Mrs. Vanderburg. I think math is fun--like doing puzzles. I recognize that not everyone feels the same way about math, and I enjoy breaking it down and helping students make the connections to understand math. Everyone is capable of learning math, even if it's not naturally easy for you!

Teacher Specialization

I began teaching over 10 years ago in a small private school where I taught all subjects for 6th and 7th grade. After 2 years working there, I switched to teaching high school math in a public school. I taught math in the public schools for 7 years before switching to teaching online with Stride. I have enjoyed working with students in all settings.
