Bio
Hello, my name is Ilda! I am a lifelong learner and experienced educator. My goal is to create a welcoming environment by understanding students' perspectives and by providing differentiated instruction to meet their academic needs and ensure students learn at their own paces. Through tutoring, I prepare lessons that incorporate critical thinking skills with ample practice opportunities for content mastery. I feel fulfilled when I motivate students to want to learn. I love traveling, learning about other cultures, speaking other languages (Portuguese, Spanish), trying different foods, and staying informed and active.

I have 30 years of experience in virtual and non-virtual settings. I have taught Spanish, Reading, English as a Second Language, and Varying Exceptionalities grades K to 12, English Language Arts K-8, Math K-8, and Elementary Education.
