Bio

Hi! I'm so excited to introduce myself and support you in achieving your goals! I believe in helping students learn skills that are useful and relevant to their real lives! Your unique skills in and outside of the classroom are so valuable and deserve to be celebrated! I'm a former gymnast and gymnastics coach. Today, I still love tumbling and doing yoga. My overall greatest passion is sharing stories. I love it so much that I've published my own children's book with my real dogs, Captain and Kodiak, as the main characters! I look forward to getting to know you and seeing you shine in class!

Teacher Specialization

I graduated from CSU Chico in May 2020, so I launched my teaching career right in the middle of Covid. This is where I gained experience teaching and connecting with students virtually. Then I taught 5th grade and 3rd grade as a full-time classroom teacher in person. I worked with diverse groups of students and focused on building community and connection first and foremost, which then allowed my students to gain confidence and achieve massive academic growth. I'm excited to tutor online this year!
