Hello! I'm Mr. Boyd, an experienced educator passionate about helping students unlock their full potential. I tutor because I love seeing that "aha" moment when learning clicks, opening new doors of possibility. I believe every student has hidden talents and abilities just waiting to be discovered. With patience, positive support, constructive feedback, and individualized guidance, I help students build confidence in reading comprehension, writing, and math. Inspired by Buckminster Fuller's words—"There is nothing in a caterpillar that tells you it's going to be a butterfly"—I foster a fun, supportive, and judgment free environment where students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills for success in and beyond the classroom.

I’ve spent the majority of my career working with young people, including many with developmental and behavioral challenges, helping them unlock their full potential. Since joining K12 in 2020, I’ve had the privilege of working with high school students, guiding them to strengthen and maintain their grade-level skills, with a special focus on English and Math.
