Bio
I believe students learn best when they are able to make connections to real life experiences and examples. My core values for education are that we all have areas of strength when learning and identifying these areas will help us on our learning journey. I like to provide feedback with a lot of positive reinforcement and gentle encouragement. One goal for tutoring is to help students identify how they learn best and use that knowledge to help them further their understanding in various subjects. I also plan on using a positive growth mindset approach when faced with challenging problems and subjects. I will take time to find the student's needs and interests in order to best supply content that will be relevant and authentic. I enjoy learning about different hobbies, sports, and extracurricular activities. I also enjoy sharing my experiences with students as it relates to the topic.
