Bio
I am an educator, author, and mental health specialist. I am certified in Special Education, Social Science, Social Studies, and Reading Specialist. I have worked with youth and young adults with and without disabilities for over 17 years. I have taught test prep, remediation, executive function, and homework help. I have aided teens and young adults in obtaining their GED and High School Diploma. I have successfully helped youth gain their confidence and improve their literacy and math skills. I am up-to-date on educational strategies and know how to unpack objectives to meet the needs of all learners I service.
Teacher Specialization
I worked in the field of education as an administrator, coordinator, coach, teacher, and tutor. I worked with youth from pre-school - young adults. I taught in whole group, small group, and one-on-one sessions. I have eight years of teaching in an online setting. I have successfully implemented individualized learning plans and collaborated with teachers, specialist, and parents to ensure student success.
