Hi! I'm Javier Batista. I'm honored that you'd consider me to be your tutor! I believe students learn best when they are invested and have ownership of their learning. This is why I try to tailor our sessions around your interests. My virtual classroom is a safe place to make mistakes. This is evident in the type of feedback given to each student. I know that students have a lot on their plates, so the goal is to be a low-stress environment while maintaining high standards. I want to help each student think critically, and creatively. I am committed to you leaving each session more confident, prepared, and empowered. In addition to teaching, I am a musician and singer-songwriter. I geek out on Star Wars and anime. I speak Spanish and spent a lot of my formative years in Puerto Rico, where my family is from. I'm also a dad and a husband. Finally, I tutor because I love seeing students experience growth and be successful in areas where they thought it wasn't possible or out of reach.
